Industri Energi has established an international award for union rights. The objective of this award is to promote efforts to strengthen the international and national work done on trade unions and trade union rights.
The award is worth NOK 500,000 or approximately EUR 61,016/USD 82,784.
Candidates
The award will be given to a person or organisation for outstanding contributions made to promoting union rights and/or strengthening trade unionship at an international or national level.

Nominations
The following may nominate candidates for the award:
union representatives and employees in trade unions worldwide.
Deadline for nominations is 1 May 2010.
The award will be presented at the union’s national congress
on 11 October 2010.
